Hilton Head
Just before Memorial Day, I took a 3.5 day trip out to Hilton Head to visit Jim and Terri Mihokovich in their new retirement home in Sun City. They wanted me to move down too. It was so very tempting.
On the last day there we drove to historic Beaufort SC to do some sightseeing. We saw the John Mark Verdier House and museum, then ate at Panini’s on the Waterfront before we took the carriage ride tour. Off to Beaufort’s Chocolate Tree, Like Forrest Gump said, “Life is like a box of Chocolates” (movie was filmed there).
